Revival Platform
The Revival Platform is a special platform that appears after a player has been KO'ed, and comes with the revived character. These platforms disappear as soon as the character/player gets off of it. If the player doesn't move, the platform will disappear after 5 seconds. This platform can only be boarded by the KO'ed character, and only when they have been KO'ed. It can't be boarded at any other time.
Advantages to this platform includes invincibility the entire time it is active. In Brawl, it is usually used to avoid characters using a transformation Final Smash. This is also a way to avoid entering the match, and thinking of what to do next.
The animation to the platforms hasn't changed much over the three games.
Trivia
- Giga Bowser has the largest Revival Platform. The Ice Climbers use two uniquely.
