This stage is retro style like [[Mushroom Kingdom]] and is based on the first level of the game game ''Sonic the Hedgehog''. The terrain is flat on the far left but dips into a curve that slants down then upward towards the right. Occasionally save points will come out of the ground and turn red if hit but this seems to have no effect on gameplay. A recognizable loop from the Sonic games stands in the background (which Tails and Knuckles occasionally run through) and a waterfall behind that. Various other terrain from Green Hill zone is evident like sunflowers, palm trees and the checkered ground. portions of the center ground can also be destroyed. | ||

Green Hill Zone is a Sonic themed stage appearing in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This stage is retro style like Mushroom Kingdom and is based on the first level of the game game Sonic the Hedgehog. The terrain is flat on the far left but dips into a curve that slants down then upward towards the right. Occasionally save points will come out of the ground and turn red if hit but this seems to have no effect on gameplay. A recognizable loop from the Sonic games stands in the background (which Tails and Knuckles occasionally run through) and a waterfall behind that. Various other terrain from Green Hill zone is evident like sunflowers, palm trees and the checkered ground. portions of the center ground can also be destroyed.
