I think it's because the game only records a character's position 60 times per second (every frame), and when the launching speed is too fast, the position of that character just "skips" through the wall. Deletion
Weak Keep. This does work; I've tried it and seen videos. And it is technically a glitch, as it can't be explained by the game's physics system. The page needs some work, however.

I don't know about "messing with the game's physics"...surely it's just the fact that they are going so fast, they are never in contact with a wall from one frame to another? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 16:35, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
