Puff Up glitch

Jigglypuff's puff up glitch.

The Puff Up Glitch is a glitch for Jigglypuff in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The glitch works on any stage where terrain is regenerated (like the awnings on Onett, the floor on Green Hill Zone, etc. The easiest and most popular place to use this glitch is the Bridge of Eldin. First, Jigglypuff must break open a smash ball and ready to perform its final smash. Next, on the Bridge of Eldin, after King Bulbin destroys the middle of the bridge, a twilight portal will open after a while and start restoring the bridge. Any time during the restoration of the bridge, jump into the space where the Bridge will re-appear with Jigglypuff and use her Final Smash. Jigglypuff will start to grow, during which the bridge will be fixed, and if timed right, Jigglypuff will be launched into the air and will stay in her larger state. She now has a larger attack range, but her damage will remain the same. Additionaly, if Yoshi (or Kirby with Yoshi's ability) uses egg lay on Jigglypuff while she is in her permanantly enlarged state, she will escape the egg and become twice the size she was before. if done at correct size (almost the entire screen) you will almost be invincible to being smashed/blown up off the stage (except on Bridge of Eldin where king bulbin puts a bomb down). To end the glitch, just self-destruct or use a Final Smash again.

Trivia

• Using the same process of achieving this glitch, many other Final Smashes will have odd effects, such as R.O.B. gaining a permanent Diffusion Beam.
