The Box Glitch refers to a glitch found in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The glitch results with a character trapping another character in an invisible box.

How To Perform
This glitch is performed by having Falco down throw another character on the main, center platform. After numerous down throws, the thrown character will be trapped in an "invisible box." The character will act as though they are literally trapped inside a tiny box; jumping results in animation results in the character hitting an invisible ceiling.
