'''Reverse Edge-Canceled Eggs''' (abbreviated "'''RECE'''"). Similar to ECE, Reverse Edge-Canceled Egg performed generally the same but instead of launching your eggs towards the stage, you launch outwards. This is done by quickly turning around with your second jump. This is a more risky alternative because if missed, Yoshi will plummet to his death due to the fact that one cannot simply grab the edge backwards normally.

Edge-Canceled Eggs (abbreviated "ECE"). Is a techniques performed by Yoshi that is preformed by releasing from the edge, be either pressing down or away from the edge, double jumping and then launching an egg. This must be done fast enough so that when done, you do not land on the stage or too far above the edge. After the egg is thrown you can grab onto the edge, canceling all lag and renewing your edge invincibility.
