The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters.
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted.

Brick blocks are obstacles in the Mario series that are made out of bricks. Normally, these can only be destroyed by Super Mario and do not produce any items, but this is not always the case.

In Super Smash Bros.

Brick blocks appear in Super Smash Bros., however they are indestructible.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

Brick blocks appear on the Kingdom stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee. After being destroyed, they will eventually respawn as either ? blocks or more brick blocks.

These blocks also appear on the Mushroom Kingdom Adventure stage and produce the same effect, although they are harder to destroy and they will not respawn. They sometimes produce items from the Mario series.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Brick blocks appear on the Mushroomy Kingdom stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, however, unlike the first installment of the series, they are destructible, and sometimes hold items.
