+HOPE+, formerly known as SirShyGuy, is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Hero main from Denmark. He is considered as the best Hero main in Europe and one of the best players in Denmark. He previously mained Isabelle and was the best Isabelle solo-main in Europe and one of the best in the world. He is currently ranked 1st on the Danish Ultimate Power Rankings, 4th on the Nordic Power Rankings, 87th on the Lumirank 2023/Europe top 100 and has defeated players such as Tarik, Peli, big chungus, THE SCHMIXTAPE, TriM, MazeBeans, Réhann, and RobinGG.

Tournament history
In SSB4, +HOPE+ played Pikachu and was often considered one of the best Pikachu players in Europe as well.
Smash 4
+HOPE+ started out with Super Smash Flash 2 in 2010 and later on got into Smash 4 in early 2015, mostly playing online via Anther's Ladder. He later met fellow Danish player Laske who introduced him to the Danish smash scene, and eventually lead to him peaking to the #1 spot of the Danish Power Rankings. Finishing smash 4 as #2 on the Danish PR and results such as 4th at Valhalla, 17th at ESGA: Invitational and much more!

Ultimate
+HOPE+ started the first month without a main but ended up settling with Isabelle and using a bunch of characters at the side, this was necessary for him as Isabelle is looked on as one of the worst characters in the game. Even with this problem, +HOPE+ ends up finding himself at good placings such as 13th at Valhalla II and 9th at PXB2. Eventually picking up Ken from a for fun character, to a Co-main after his buffs in patch 3.1.0. Using a deep pocket uterlizing Isa, Ken, Roy, Inkling etc, +HOPE+ quickly got known as the best Isabelle in Europe and one of the best in the world.

After lackluster results at Monday Meltdown, +HOPE+ decided that he had to seek out for a new main. As the meta evolved the flaws of Isabelle and her lackluster tool set for the meta took a tole on him, but he would finally find light on a correct character for him at the E3 Nintendo Direct june 11th, 2019.
There Hero, the main characters of the Dragon Quest series along with Banjo & Kazooie got revealed and Hero got his attention. Seeing the interesting MP bar and a menu list, +HOPE+'s interest for the character rose and he would not compete at a bigger scale event untill further notice of the character. Later on in time, Sakurai himself would showcase the interesting gimmick of Hero and his RNG gameplay. This sparked a lot of concern for a lot of competitors but sparked joy in +HOPE+ and therefor decided to main Hero with a pocket Roy. Ever since the release of Hero a rise of results and peaks have landed on +HOPE+'s path and is quickly marking himself as a valid threat with a character that might not have a big impact at the meta at the moment, but is causing fear in the community without a doubt.

Tournament history
Smash 4
+HOPE+ started out with Super Smash Flash 2 in 2010 which helped him get into Smash 4 in early 2015. Initially he spent most of his time on Anther's Ladder. However, he would meet fellow Danish player Laske who would introduce him to the offline Danish Smash scene. He quickly became one of the best players in Denmark and would eventually reach the number 1 spot Danish Power Rankings in January 2018. He ended Smash 4 as 2nd on the Danish Power Rankings, with results such as 4th at Valhalla and 17th at BEAST 7.
Ultimate
+HOPE+ started the first month without a set main, but ended up settling with Isabelle; however, he would constantly use secondaries because of Isabelle's weaknesses. Even with this problem, +HOPE+ found success in the early metagame of Ultimate with good placings such as 13th at Valhalla II and 9th at Phoenix Blue 2, and quickly became the best Isabelle in Europe and a contender for best Isabelle in the world. He would pick up Ken initially as a for-fun character, then later as a co-main after his buffs in patch 3.1.0. With Isabelle, Ken, and a variety of secondaries such as Roy and Inkling, +HOPE+ easily became one of the best players in Denmark, placing 3rd on the first Danish Power Rankings for Ultimate.
After lackluster results at Monday Meltdown, +HOPE+ decided that he had to seek out for a new main, as the evolving metagame had worsened Isabelle's flaws. After struggling to find a new main, he would finally find light at the E3 Nintendo Direct on June 11th, 2019, where Hero would be announced. He was interested in the character's MP bar and menu list and decided to stop competing at bigger-scale events until the character was released. Upon the character's release, although Hero's luck-based moveset sparked a lot of concern in the community, it instead sparked excitement for +HOPE+, who decided to pick the character up. With Hero, he has since seen even more success at tournaments. such as 33rd at the national tournament Valhalla III and 13th at the regional tournament Smash Contest: DoKomi 2020, and rose to the number 1 spot on the Danish Power Rankings.
