Nowhere Island is a setting in the EarthBound universe, specifically Mother 3. Early in the game, the main protagonist Lucas lives there with his family in Tazmily Village (Japanese name is pronounced Tazumarii Village). One of the largest arenas in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, New Pork City, is set there. There was also supposed to be a New Pork Island located near Nowhere Island in an early version of the game. Instead it became New Pork City located in a mountainous region.
