Keroguchi had the surprise run of the tournament, making it to Winner Finals. Keroguchi upset 44th seed {{Sm|Mizuaka}} and 117th seed {{Sm|Mao}} in group stage, and 23rd seed {{Sm|Kuroitsu}}, 6th seed {{Sm|DoubleA}}, 35th seed {{Sm|Nyanko}} and 19th seed {{Sm|Banku}} in top 32.
Gackt would defeat Keroguchi in Winners Finals 2-0. However Keroguchi would defeat Brood in Loser Finals 2-1. Keroguchi would reset the bracket 2-0, before succumbing to Gackt 0-2 in the final set. In total Keroguchi made 9 upsets in the tournament, with particular large upsets against DoubleA (upset factor 10) and Gackt (upset factor 14).

Tournament summary[edit]

The tournament was won by Gackt (1st seed). Gackt reached Winner Finals by defeating Jagaimo (3rd seed), Twinkle (15th seed), Brood (40th seed), and Logix (14th seed). Gackt would face Keroguchi (149th seed) in Winner Finals.

Keroguchi had the surprise run of the tournament, making it to Winner Finals. Keroguchi upset 44th seed Mizuaka and 117th seed Mao in group stage, and 23rd seed Kuroitsu, 6th seed DoubleA, 35th seed Nyanko and 19th seed Banku in top 32.
