The Online Options menu is an item in both the online menu and the Dashboard in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While in this menu, players are allowed to adjust the following options:
- Create their own Smash Tags by choosing the profile from a collection of pre-set icons and color of the tag.
- Assign pre-made Taunt Messages to each direction on the directional pad. Pressing a direction automatically displays the corresponding message. Up to four messages can be assigned for before a match and up to four more can be assigned for after. The ability to share messages with anyone or only with friends can also be toggled.
- Enable or disable notifications, recommendations, and read a collections of notices about Online Play.
