In singles, he didn't drop a set, defeating ESAM 2-0, Ally 3-0, Nairo 3-2, and Nietono 3-1. He also won doubles with his twin brother Kakera, defeating Mew2King and Anti 3-2 in both winners' finals and grand finals.
Otori returned to defend his titles next year at Apex 2013, but lost to Salem 0-2 early in winners' bracket. He swept through losers' bracket, defeating Tyrant 2-0, Vinnie 2-0, 9B 2-0, Dabuz 2-1, Mikeneko 2-0, and Nairo 3-2, to make it to losers' finals. However, he was eliminated by Mew2King 2-3, ending his run at 3rd place.
