Hitbox visualization showing Mr. Game & Watch's down tilt.

Overview[edit]

Mr. Game & Watch flips a manhole cover on the ground in front of him with decent range. As in many of Mr. Game & Watch's moves, this attack has a formidable windbox just above it that can catch opponents off guard. When this windbox hits an opponent using a particularly effective vertical recovery move, such as Pit's Power of Flight, it can actually K.O. the opponent by sending them above the upper blast line, though this requires very specific conditions. This effect also applies to certain items and projectile special moves, deflecting them out of harm's way.

Update history[edit]

Super Smash Bros. 4 1.0.8

  • Buff Down tilt's knockback increased: 10 (base)/120 (scaling) → 40/125.
  • Buff Down tilt's windbox size increased: 9u → 10.5u.
