On December 17th, 2005, NorCal's newest large tournament franchise took flight featuring the best of NorCal featuring some of the best from SoCal and Arizona's [[BloodOfTheFallen]]. The largest since the end of Mattdeezie's TG era. In 2006, the franchise's 2nd tournament took place, NCT 2 - The Big One. Over a hundred players from NorCal and SoCal, not to mention several out of state contenders, attended along with Japan's famed [[Doctor Mario]] player - [[S-Royal]]. Here are the details from the year's largest Northern California tournament.

The installments saw some of the largest crowds since {{Trn|Tournament Go}}, which was also well-attended tournament series at the time it took place.
