Dedenne appears in ''Super Smash Bros. 4'' as a [[Poké Ball]] Pokémon. When summoned, it hovers in the air and spins electric bolts in four directions around itself. The attack hits multiple times, with the final hit inflicting medium knockback. It is similar in its way of attacking to [[Robin]]'s Arcthunder projectile upon hitting a target, but with the electric charge spinning rather than being stationary.

Dedenne (デデンネ, Dedenne) is a creature from the Pokémon series.

Origin

Dedenne is an Electric/Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VI as one of many new Pokémon demonstrating the then-new Fairy type, and is categorized within the Pokédex at #702 as the "Antenna Pokémon". Despite looking similar to Pikachu, it is not related to it, nor it has any evolutionary relatives, being among the few Pokémon in each region commonly referred to as a "Pikaclone".

Discharge is an Electric-type special move with 80 base power, 100% accuracy and a 30% chance of inflicting the Paralysis status on its targets. Dedenne can learn it at level 50.

Trophy

Dedenne's trophy is randomly available in both versions. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U it is part of the The Beginning of Pokémon X & Pokémon Y Trophy Box.

Dedenne cannot be summoned on Yoshi's Island (Brawl).

Spirit

Dedenne is also a spirit in World of Light. In its battle, the player faces a Pichu sporting some goggles. The floor is electrified, Pichu favors neutral specials, and only Dedenne can spawn from Poké Balls. The player fights on the Battlefield version of Pokémon Stadium.
