Electivire (エレキブル, Erekiburu, Elekible in Japanese language versions) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature description

Electivire is the burlier, more yeti-like evolution of Electabuzz that was first introduced in the 4th Generation games Pokémon Diamond & Pearl. Its Pokédex entries have this to say about it: Heedless of enemy attacks, in battle it closes in, grabs its electric tails, and shoves them into opponents to electrocute then with over 20,000 volts of power. In the RPGs themselves, Electivire is physically powerful, and its unique trait Motor Drive renders it invulnerable to Electric-type attacks and actually increases its Speed rating if it is hit by a move of that element. It also has the reputation as the only Electric-type Pokemon that can learn Earthquake and Giga Impact (the latter by leveling up).

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Electivire appears in the background of Pokémon Stadium 2 during the Electic portion of the stage. It is purely cometic and has no affect on gameplay whatsoever. It also appears as a trophy.
