Jose (sometimes stylized Jos3) or eMeJoTa was a smasher from Lima, Peru. He was known for his aggressive Kirby and tournament organizer that seeked to unite the smash communities of Lima, Arequipa & Tacna and bring smashers from North America to Peruvian tournaments and vice versa.

After initially planning to attend Super Smash Con 2016[1] but ultimately not attending, Jose attended Super Smash Con 2017 together with fellow Peruvian smasher Alvin. Jose placed 17th in singles, losing against Kort, tacos, and Isai, and 5th in doubles teaming with Mexican smasher Mariguas.

In March 2022 he died of cancer. [2]
