RiVer was a Dutch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player who mained Sonic and Donkey Kong, but could play a variety of other characters. He was formerly ranked as an honorable mention on the Dutch Power Rankings and has taken sets from Grove, Jesse, WhYYZ, Joe, SKIPPER, Paint, Mad Ice King, and Oración.
Outside of Smash, RiVer also played the fangame Super Smash Flash 2 competitively and was considered one of the fangame's best players prior to his hiatus in 2017.
RiVer passed away in early June of 2020. The Neptune RiVer Tribute tournament was made in dedication to him.
