Steve also known as Stevo, is a Canadian professional smasher (ranked 5th on the CCSC Power Rankings) who gained notoriety within the local community for his natural aptitude for the game and continued success in a tournament setting despite not playing on a regular basis. He is also one of the few competitive Zelda players worldwide.
Steve's natural ability for competitive Melee is generally attributed to his moving to Edmonton from Calgary and thus being exposed to a talented group of players including MagnuM, FalseFalco and members of Punch Crew.
Since improving at a rapid rate over a short period of time, Steve does not compete or practice on a regular basis. He finished in the top ten at CT3 and finished in second place at CAST in March 2007.
