Here are my Opinions on each new Character that are in Ultimate

Base Roster[edit]

Inkling[edit]

I wasn't Surprised they were announced in Smash because Splatoon was so popular in both the Wii U and Switch. I actually skipped the announcement because I thought it was a Splatoon port. Overall I was excited about their inclusion because I played Splatoon.

Ridley[edit]

When people wanted him in the game I was against it because of the Meme about Ridley being too big. But after I played him when he came out Ridley became one of my secondaries and he is a fun character.

Simon and Richter[edit]

I only knew Simon along with Banjo and King K Rool because people requested him for Smash. Overall I never really played him and he's not popular online.

King K Rool[edit]

I never really want King K Rool because I didn't understand the hype and I didn't use him a lot after the game came out.

Isabelle[edit]

I played Animal Crossing New Leaf before I played smash but I didn't care about Isabelle inclusion.

Incineroar[edit]

I did play Sun and Moon but I haven't used Incineroar yet.

Echo Fighters[edit]

Daisy[edit]

I didn't care about her inclusion because I didn't know or want to main Peach.

Chrom[edit]

I wanted to main him because I thought he would be better than Roy but when I found out Chrom had bad up special so I played Roy instead.

Dark Samus[edit]

I thought she would better than Samus but Dark Samus is the same in the final game.

Ken[edit]

Too complex to main I would rather main terry.

DLC[edit]

Piranha Plant[edit]

I played Mario Games when I got a DS when I was a kid so I knew who Piranha Plant was. It is fun to play as this character online because it's not common.

Joker[edit]

I never knew who he was because I never played Persona (not counting the Sonic Forces DLC I bought) and overall his great but not my main.

Hero[edit]

I was hyped when Erdrick (Hero) was leaked so many times because I knew he would different and I get good luck with Hero if I am fighting with unskilled players. I got My first Dragon Quest game in 2020 (Dragon Quest 11 S)

Banjo & Kazooie[edit]

I only know who he was because people wanted him since Brawl. I would rather have The player character from Minecraft but I am ok with Banjo inclusion because I know people will outrage about Steve getting in to smash instead of Banjo.

Terry[edit]

I knew who Terry was but I didn't know his name because I only played Street Fighter when I was a kid. I would Main if I knew his Super Specials inputs. After Terry became DLC I bought The King of Fighters '98 on the Switch because Fatal Fury didn't have a new game since Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Byleth[edit]

I wasn't a big fan of Byleth's trailer but I was happy they were included because I played Fire Emblem Three Houses and I wasn't mad because I knew they wouldn't be another Marth.

Min Min[edit]

I did Play ARMS when it came out and I stopped playing in the middle of 2018. I am happy it's an ARMS Character because 50% of the DLC were silent protagonist from JRPGs. Min Min is a very fun Character and while she is complicated Min Min is at least easier than Terry.

The Player (Steve)[edit]

I played Minecraft before I knew Smash existed. I don't know if I am going to main Steve.
