Kansai 2012 (or 5th Kansai) was a national Smash 64 tournament held in the Kansai region of Japan. The tournament format was single elimination and best-of-1 until the finals, which were best-of-3. The only legal stage was Dream Land.
Jouske, the favourite to win, was defeated by wario to finish only 9th.
