The '''Smash Panel Power Rankings''' is a list that ranked the top 25 ''Melee'' players from the United States in 2006. It was made in 2006 by Hyugaricdeau, [[Marcus]], [[Wife]], [[KishPrime]], [[Eddie]], [[HugS]], dcx1287, and [[chillindude829]]. Though it is the closest thing to national rankings the Smash community has ever had, the panel was disbanded after receiving backlash from the community.

The rankings were updated over the course of the year, but it was later discontinued, leaving the ''Melee'' community without a national American power ranking or any other similarly scoped ranking for many years. The idea to rank the absolute best players in competitive ''Melee'' was later revived with the [[SSBPD]], as well as the [[SSBMRank]] in 2013, albeit as a worldwide ranking. [[RetroSSBMRank]] would also later emerge to retroactively rank the ten best ''Melee'' players in the world each year from 2003 up to 2012, the last year before SSBMRank introduced a community accepted worldwide ranking.

The Smash Panel Power Rankings was a power ranking that listed the top 25 Super Smash Bros. Melee players in the United States.
