Sushigi is a smasher from Arkansas who mains Luigi in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Luigi Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sushigi was a semi-professional player in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and was arguably the best player in central Arkansas before Phenom. Sushigi took a set off of Aerolink at Mid-South Championships 2016, who was the best player in Texas at the time, and has several regional results overall, as well as many local results. His biggest achievement was taking over a whole tournament over the region of St. Louis and winning $1,000. Sushigi also has arguably the best results of any doubles player in Arkansas in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U overall. Typically, Sushigi was known to be a very emotional player in many ways during Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, due to his young age and status in the community. Sushigi was ranked on all SSB4 Central Arkansas and Statewide Arkansas Power Rankings within the top 6.

Although he is playing less often in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, his skill level remains roughly the same. Sushigi placed top 3 in doubles and top 8 in singles at GDEX 2019, a regional tournament in Ohio, as an unranked player at the time. He also has another handful of Ultimate local results. Sushigi took a set off LumaDooma while he was ranked #1 in Northwest Arkansas and Fort Smith. Sushigi is currently ranked 6th on the North Louisiana Quarter 1 2023 Ultimate Power Rankings.

Recently, Sushigi has ranked 5th on the Arkansas Melee 2022 Power Rankings dual maining Luigi and Dr. Mario. He also qualified for the first Beyond Melee invitational. Sushigi has also managed to qualify for a main bracket in Training Mode Tuesdays and place top 16 at Sunshined 2022. Sushigi has also organized Melee tournaments in his local region, both online and offline.

Some lesser known but still relevant facts are that Sushigi has results maining Kirby in Smash 64, mostly in the region of Memphis, where he was PR'd in the top 5 for a brief period, and Sushigi was PR'd in Arkansas for a short time in Project M maining Luigi.
