Kanto 2019 was a national Super Smash Bros. tournament held in Tokyo, Japan. It had a best-of-3 double-elimination bracket after round robin pools. It was held together with Battle Gateway 25. Smashers AllGreen and Sedda from the United States also made an appearance. Unlike many other majors in Japan, the tournament was also not character locked. 77 players attended with the full list being here.
kysk won his 4th Kanto tournament in a row. He was sent into loser's early by Sekirei, where he defeated Maha with Falcon, Wangera in Pikachu dittos, got his revenge against Sekirei with Kirby in Loser's Semis, wario with Falcon in Loser's Finals and Kurabba in Grand Finals with Kirby. He also streamed the tournament on his YouTube channel.
