Template:Pyra and Mythra in competitive play (SSBU): Difference between revisions

Since the Aegis' release, Pyra and Mythra have received very positive reception from competitive players. This is largely owed to Mythra's outstanding mobility and frame data, overall one of the best in the game, alongside her unique Foresight ability, though this is at the cost of her damage output being largely unimpressive. On the other hand, Pyra brings to the table overwhelming power and range, while losing out on mobility and, to an extent, frame data. These polarized attributes overall complement each other very well and leave the duo with few collective weaknesses, most notably a poor recovery that can easily be edgeguarded. As a result, the Aegis have seen strong usage since her debut, with {{Sm|Cosmos}}, {{Sm|MkLeo}}, {{Sm|Sparg0}}, and {{Sm|Shuton}} using the her to place highly at multiple major events. This strong reception led many players to consider her as one of the best characters in the game, and she currently sits at 2nd on the current tier list, ranking in the S+ tier alongside {{SSBU|Steve}} and {{SSBU|Joker}}.
