Trouble King 2 (すごく迷惑大王, Very Annoying King) is the 42nd event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Trouble King 2 (すごく迷惑大王, Very Annoying King) is the 42nd event match of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

This event match is a somewhat of a sequel to the first Trouble King. However, the player is now Luigi instead of Mario, and Bowser is now extremely large. The player must KO Giant Bowser twice. If he gets even one hit on the player, it will likely be a one-hit KO due to his size.
The player controls Luigi and must win a 2 stock battle against a giant Bowser on the Poké Floats stage. This event match features no time limit. The CPU Bowser's artificial intelligence is set at Level 7.

Due to the combination of Bowser's incredible size and the geometry of Poké Floats, it is more feasible to attempt to cause Bowser to SD rather than trying to KO him directly.
When this match starts, Luigi will spawn on the Squirtle float's right arm while the giant Bowser spawns on the top of Squirtle's head. If the giant Bowser damages Luigi with an attack, it would likely cause an OHKO due to his size, which increases his attack power. Due to the combination of Bowser's large size and increased attack power, and the geometry of the Poké Floats stage, it is more feasible to cause Bowser to self-destruct rather than trying to KO him directly.

Trivia
*This event match is a successor to Event 1: Trouble King. It received another follow-up in Super Smash Bros. Brawl with Event 1: Two Trouble Kings.
