Mario Bros. Madness is the 31st of the 51 event matches in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The player controls a fighter of their choice and must win a 2 minute timed match against a CPU Mario and Luigi on the Mushroom Kingdom stage. The CPU Mario and Luigi's artificial intelligence is each set at Level 5.
Similar to the timed matches in Versus Mode, each player starts with infinite stocks and they each gain a point for every opponent they KO, and lose a point every time they are KO'd or they self-destruct. If the player has more points than Mario or Luigi, it will result in a victory.
