Trouble King is the 1st event match in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
The player controls Mario, who must win a 2 stock match against a CPU Bowser on Battlefield with no time limit. When the match starts, Mario spawns at center of the main platform, and Bowser spawns above the topmost platform. Bowser is heavily handicapped and his AI is only level one.
This event match has a successor in the form of Event 42: Trouble King 2. It received another follow-up in Super Smash Bros. Brawl with Event 1: Two Trouble Kings.
