Minecart: Difference between revisions

The yophey cart refers to an [[advanced technique]] exclusive to Steve that massively improves his option coverage after using minecart through the use of a {{h2|Mine / Craft / Create Block|Phantom block reverse}}, popularised by Smash player [[yophey]]. Simply put, when jumping out of a minecart, Steve has a nine-frame window in which a neutral special b-reverse may be inputted without causing Steve to place a block. This allows Steve to freely turn around midair after exiting a minecart, allowing him to face away from opponents after launching a minecart towards them. Following this, Steve may immediately input a back-air; this minecart to back-air sequence covers a surprising amount of options. If the opponent stays grounded, they will be grabbed by the minecart; if they jump or try to approach Steve, they will be caught by his incredibly powerful back-air, especially if he has diamond tools. The reason why back-air is preferred in this situation compared to a simple forward air is because back-air has much greater vertical and horizontal coverage, and is active for longer.
