Stone is Kirby's Down B special move.
Kirby transforms into a rock, becoming impervious to damage for a short time. While in Stone form, Kirby can still be thrown, and eaten by Yoshi's Egg Lay. He can deal damage by using the move in mid air and falling on opponents.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Kirby could transform into one of the following:
- Regular Stone Kirby
- A spiked ball
- A 1000 pound weight
- A block from Panel de Pon
- A Thwomp
The move is one of Kirby's copy abilities from Kirby's Adventure, behaving in much the same way. Kirby's Super Star introduced the ability for Kirby to transform into various other stone objects including rarely a statue of Mario
