Young Link can tech roll on command, it is faster and farther than a normal roll, has a hitbox, and turns him around. The backwards tech roll variant is not nearly as good. Can be performed any time you are grounded and hit by your bomb explosion between the above percentages.
Notes
- Using c-stick for ASDI down, and analog stick for tech roll makes it easier
- You can SDI left or right to get a distance boost
- Smash turn at the end of forward tech roll(2 frame window) lets you slide off ledges
