Young Link can tap reset himself on command because of his multihit bombs. Tap reset occurs when a move below 7% hits you during miss tech, and you are still in the air after 13 frames. You snap out into an actionable state, but you still experience knockback. When jumping during tap reset knockback, momentum is carried over, causing an increase in height gained by double jump. Notes

  • Not limited to down throw, can be performed with zdrop, or simply when you throw a bomb too close to your opponent while grounded
