Roman began his competitive ''Smash'' career in June 2006 when he was only 12 years old. After seeing competitive matches on YouTube, and learning of [[Kaillera]], he began playing SSB64 online and Melee with a friend. He stopped playing both games around 2009, after frustration of there being no nearby scenes to play with.
