Overview[edit]
Identical to all of his other throws until the opponent is released, Mr. Game & Watch juggles the opponent before launching them downward, making them bounce off of the ground. The throw has weak vertical knockback which gives it very strong combo potential. It can combo effectively at most percentages into Fire, Mr. Game & Watch's up special move, or into his up tilt at very low percentages. It can notably lead into up aerial at high percents for a KO confirm (known as the "Toot-Toot). Because of this, down throw is easily Mr. Game & Watch's best throw, and it is one of his most effective moves overall.
