Wall-grappling is a technique used by Link, Young Link and Samus that allows the player to grab the wall within a certain area and slide back up. It can not be used after a triple jump. Unlike Tether Recovery, the point of the grab that is connected to the ledge does not always have to be level to the stage. One can hang onto the ledge before falling off a lot longer than with the wall-grapple. This move is a mandatory part of the Links' boomerang superjump.

How to wall-grapple

  • Fall close to the edge
  • Air dodge (optional)
  • Press Z
  • Press A
