Stage?[edit]

Is this actually a playable stage, or is it just a place for an event match? I recall seeing event-only stages having different articles, but I don't recall. Can someone clear this up and edit the article to reflect the information? FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 10:16, 22 March 2008 (UTC) It is a real stage unlocked by beating a certain event...~Crystal_Lucario 13:37, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Event 28: Flower Blooms in the Echoes is the event where you unlock this stage. Zmario 14:43, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Banned?[edit]

It says in the trivia that its the only stage that has differences in the singles and doubles banning yet in the info box it says banned for both singles and doubles.Oni Dark Link 19:21, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

The trivia is outdated and no longer true, therefore I'll remove it. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 19:26, September 14, 2010 (UTC)

I cannot find proof for any English pronunciation of the word, though Google Translate thinks it's pronounced like "han-en-bow" (silimar to "hand-in-boat"). The Japanese name ("ハネンボウ", or "hanenbou") would be pronounced "hah-neynn-boh-uu", which is similar though the stress is in a different place. Toomai Glittershine ??? Expanding on my edit summary[edit]

If we included stages with water outside the playing field, we would also have to include:

  • Battlefield
  • Rumble Falls
  • Bridge of Eldin
  • Lylat Cruise
  • Skyworld
  • Smashville
  • Green Hill Zone
  • Rainbow Cruise
  • Green Greens
  • Big Blue

We'd also have to include stages where you can stand in water but not swim in it, such as Pokémon Stadium 1 and Distant Planet. Alex the Jigglypuff trainer 04:56, June 25, 2019 (EDT)

This stage is overhated, IMO.[edit]

Just wanted to say it, because I couldn't help myself from sharing this unpopular opinion that I feel. At least for Casual Smash, Hanenbow really is like one of my most underrated and/or overhated stages in Smash Bros history. NinTOONdo (talk) 17:42, October 14, 2021 (EDT)

Say what you will about the Hanenbow stage all you want, but talk pages are not for musings and stuff like that. JacketTerraSig1.pngThe Jacketed TerrapinJacketTerraSig2.png 17:46, October 14, 2021 (EDT)
