current table is kinda hard to parse[edit]
i think the table would be easier to parse and read if it had a column per character per game instead of using multiple in game icons in the same cell. either that or making a table per character that has passive armor. that said if a new passive armor that isn't knockback based or straight up super armor is added down the line, then a different table for this one would be worth considering since the list of moves it could armor would end up being vastly different.—-Lattie (talk) 16:28, September 20, 2021 (EDT)
- I think the current table is fine. The small amount of instances makes it very difficult to work with in any other way; surely we don't want tables with like two articles? I'm not sure. If you can draw up something more effective, by all means edit the page, as that's what it's there for. --Plague von Karma 16:49, September 20, 2021 (EDT)
- here's what my proposal would have looked like kinda, i have no clue how to change a table quickly so i only made changes to parts of the table but it should paint a better idea of what i was going for, i also have no clue how to go about showing an idea like that without editing the page and making a new version so here's a link to a version of the page that i saved and undid. [1]. While doing this i realized i'd probably prefer going for a table per character instead of a column per character. While this would take more space on the page it would also make each table easier to parse, avoid empty cells due to a move not being armored by a characters or not even being present in their game, and also allow for more tailored notes next to each move. It would also make it easier to add more data down the road such as damage threshold under the effect of rage, as it also plays a role in how well the armor is able to tank through moves, juggling 3 (or more) characters plus all of that data in a single table would probably make it very difficult to read. —-Lattie (talk) 08:29, September 28, 2021 (EDT)
- Yeah, this seems good. Go for it!--Plague von Karma 19:35, September 28, 2021 (EDT)
