A Low Tier Tournament is a held at tournaments as a side event. It has the same rules as the singles tournament with one big difference: Only charachters that are in the lower or bottom tier are allowed. It is held because a lot of the low tier charachters are never used in serious tournament play as they don't have a chance of winning from the high tier charachters.
