Overview
This move is used notoriously by Ike players due to the low-end lag and low knockback which is used in his other aerials or tilts. When in high percent, it can kill confirm into up-aerial which is a very good juggling and has a wide hitbox. It has been nerfed from the prior patch 8.0.0 which made it a bit stronger and the late hitbox a bit smaller. Despite the nerf, it allows to kill earlier, like in Smash 4 and he got a new kill to confirm with using Aether which the move also got buffed. It is still relatively one of Ike's best moves and even considering to be the best move out of Ike's moves overall.
Update History
- The move has much more knockback scaling (105 → 130). This removes its previous KO setups, but restores most of its standalone KO power from Smash 4.
- The late hit has smaller hitboxes (4u → 3u).
