Clone

Clone characters are characters that have almost the exact same movesets, but the effects of the moves tend to work differently. They are much easier to include in a game than original characters, as the designers need only to create the character's model, then add the original character's attacks and modify them slightly.

• Mario & Dr. Mario (Many of Luigi's moves are similar to Mario and Dr. Mario's, but some, such as Green Missile, are completely seperate. These similarities have earned the concept the name "Luigification")
