Onix (イワーク, Iwāku, Iwark in original Japanese language versions) is a Pokémon that comes out of a Poké Ball.
- Attack: Onix uses Rock Throw as it's attack. Onix will jump to the top of the screen and release rocks from it's body. The rocks will start falling down on the stage.
- Any character that makes contact with the rocks will take damage.
- Onix's attack does not harm the summoner.
- Onix is the only Pokemon missing from Melee that does not have a similar character to replace it.
