Cinnpie is an American professional Esports commentator from Virginia, United States, who commentated Ultimate. She has commentated at national tournaments such as 2GG: Prime Saga and EVO 2019. She has also competed in Smash 4 and Ultimate, frequently teaming with WaDi.
Sexual abuse allegations and ban
Rumors about Cinnpie sleeping with Puppeh surfaced in 2019, but both Puppeh and Cinnpie denied it at the time.[1] However, on July 1st, 2020, Puppeh published a tweet confirming the allegations, stating that Cinnpie had manipulated and sexually used him throughout the entire summer of 2016. At the time, Puppeh was 14, while Cinnpie was 24. He also claimed that prior to that incident, Cinnpie (or Cinnamon, as she was known at the time) had initiated sexual conversations with him on Snapchat.[2]
A day after this information came to light, the 2GGaming panel banned Cinnpie from all of their future events, alongside several other community figures accused of sexual misconduct during this time.[3]. On July 3rd 2020, the hashtag #ArrestCinnamonDunson became a trending topic on Twitter in North America, shortly followed by attempts to get people to stop tweeting it, as per Puppeh's family's request.
