:Well, the reason why a Namco page was made in the first place is due to the fact that there are so many series and games created or owned Namco that were represented in Smash 4, more than any other company even. In my opinion, I feel like we should keep the Namco page. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 14:42, 10 February 2019 (EST)
::When madeing this page, only Namco has minor universes in Smash, now there are other third-party companies also have minor universes. :::True, but even now, Namco still has way more of their IPs represented in Smash than other companies. Konami and Capcom both have 3 series each (Excluding Getsu Fuma Den for the former), Sega has 4 (Excluding After Burner), and Square Enix still only has 1. And there are the 3rd-party universes from non-playable companies such as Rayman, Shantae, BIT.TRIP, and Shovel Knight, which are the only representations of their respective companies. Not to mention that Namco has pretty much become the main co-developer of the Smash Bros. series moving forward. Honestly, having a page for 3rd-party universes where about 50% of the entries are from the same company would make it feel like a mess, so I still say it's best to leave Namco with its own page. :::::Well, Super Smash Bros. is supposed to be a Nintendo All-Star fighter, after all. Heck, the first game's Japanese name had the subtitle "Nintendo All-Star". So there's atleast a reason why 95% of the entries on the "List of minor universes" page are Nintendo-owned. Not to mention that, when the page was first created, only 2 third-party series (And a few debatable ones like Fatal Frame or Culdcept) were minor universes. And even when stuff like Virtua Fighter or Monster Hunter came via DLC Mii Costumes, they certainly weren't enough to warrant a full third-party page. And just to remind you again: Namco has too many IPs represented in Smash to just put them in any "List of universes" page other than their own, so I really don't see how we should put them in a third-party universes page rather than their own. ::Yeah, there's now a lot more reason to have a separate third-party universe page with how much has been added. In Smash 4 there was more of a case for separating it, because the Namco properties outnumbered every other third-party series, but now there's a much greater variety and it'd simplify things a lot to have them all together. Alternatively, we can re-merge this back into "List of minor universes", stop separating out 3rd-party minor series altogether (even on that page) and forever kill off semantics arguments about Baten Kaitos, Shovel Knight, Rayman, and the many other cases of gray area. It's becoming clear that any method of sub-dividing that page's content leaves weird, unintuitive corner cases when we can simply avoid the problem by not sub-dividing it at all. :The minor third-party universes are 47 now, more than half of the first-party. With the Vol. 2 coming, it can be predicted that there will be more in the future, so move is more and more meaningful. :I agree with Capstalker. There should be a general third party page, both to keep the Nintendo page down for as long as possible, to better organize all the third parties in one place, and because there really is no reason for Namco to have its own page to itself. The split may have made sense at one point, but it makes no sense now.Super Smash Lover (talk) 18:20, March 30, 2020 (EDT)

Now to resolve a bit of an edit conflict, let's not make any abrupt changes until a consensus is reached. Now that we have a list of minor 3rd party universes page, I support merging this with it. SNK also has a ton of minor universes so it makes sense to merge this. :The only reason why I opposed this in the past is because there's so many universes from Namco (which there are 25 of), and the "List of minor universes" page had over 100 universes to begin with, even without the Namco stuff. However, now that the first/second-party stuff and the third-party stuff are split into two pages, my opinion has shifted to neutral. I still think there're reasons to keep the Namco universes page, but I wouldn't really mind either if all of them get lumped with the other third-party stuff. Merge[edit]
Now to resolve a bit of an edit conflict, let's not make any abrupt changes until a consensus is reached. Now that we have a list of minor 3rd party universes page, I support merging this with it. SNK also has a ton of minor universes so it makes sense to merge this. OmegαToαd64 • the Best Kαrter 20:13, May 9, 2020 (EDT)
- Even if it's a bit premature, I support the merge as well. SNK has a near-equivalent amount of minor universes to Namco, so it feels appropriate to move this in. ~ Serena Strawberry (talk) 20:14, May 9, 2020 (EDT)
- I support merging. Acgamer28 23:08, May 9, 2020 (EDT)
- The only reason why I opposed this in the past is because there's so many universes from Namco (which there are 25 of), and the "List of minor universes" page had over 100 universes to begin with, even without the Namco stuff. However, now that the first/second-party stuff and the third-party stuff are split into two pages, my opinion has shifted to neutral. I still think there're reasons to keep the Namco universes page, but I wouldn't really mind either if all of them get lumped with the other third-party stuff. - The way I planned to do it was like the KoF universe where it has it's own dedicated section. OmegαToαd64 • the Best Kαrter 02:24, May 10, 2020 (EDT)
- By the by, if Namco stuff gets moved there, I'd also want to move Baten Kaitos (and Culdcept) to a "Multiple" or "Uncategorized" section. They don't really fully belong to the categories they're listed under right now. ~ Serena Strawberry (talk) 12:25, May 10, 2020 (EDT)
I suppport as shown above. S3AHAWK (talk) 19:36, May 17, 2020 (EDT)
- Support. Now that the third-party universes page has been properly separated there is no real reason to keep this on its own. --Rdrfc (talk) 04:23, May 21, 2020 (EDT)
Delete[edit]
Well, if it's been properly merged then I suppose it's time to take this article out behind the barn. I support its deletion. Acgamer28 00:50, May 23, 2020 (EDT)
^Beat me to it. Aaaaaanyway this was merged without warning soooooo... anyone who has final thoughts please discuss now. OmegαToαd64 • the Best Kαrter 04:16, May 23, 2020 (EDT)
I am ok with it being deleted because this page wasn't needed since the List of 3RD Party universes was created. Thegameandwatch (talk) 16:33, May 23, 2020 (EDT)
Neutral I'm not too sure if should be deleted or if it shouldn't. SonDaniel (talk page) 17:26, May 23, 2020 (EDT)
I for it for the time being, but we might have to wait and see how many 3rd parties will get spirits and mii costumes. With this being the last lot of DLC, everybody everybody will be looking to reduce their Smash Bacon number. Guybrush20X6 (talk) 04:29, May 27, 2020 (EDT)
