Should skills/glitches/techniques really have the game title at the end of them? If the rhitorical answer is yes, then the wavedashing page should be wavedashing (SSBM). Can we have a quickie template update here? I vote no game title at the end of techniques. The SSB game that the technique is for could simply be in the opening introductory paragraph. - I vote no game title too. It's easy to say that a technique is in SSBM exclusively, SSB exclusively, or both games (or Brawl, when it comes out). Just say something like "wavedashing is a technique in Melee that....," and for techniques like l-canceling we can articulate the differences between its SSB and SSBM usage. --MaskedMarth 17:38, January 10, 2007 (GMT)
- Well, I added the (SSB) in there to avoid confusion since Mewtwo's Up B is also called "teleport" and Melee generally gets priority. --Greenblob 20:02, January 10, 2007 (GMT)
- Good point. When/If Mewtwo's teleport gets an article, we would keep this article name but have the article teleport be a disambiguation page. For techniques without this type of confusion, though (like "wavedashing"), we don't need the (SSB) or (SSBM) label. --MaskedMarth 05:04, January 12, 2007 (GMT)
Picture
It'd be really nice if someone could make a small animation of the teleport. I don't have the right programs to do this.
- Oh snap, this is already an AotW? If anyone can make animated gifs/jpgs/whatever, I can send you a higher quality version of a clip of the teleport. --Greenblob 04:27, April 17, 2007 (GMT)
Fox's Teleport
I find it curious that people have left out Fox's teleport which propels him two character lengths and can be useful for movement.
Unless people don't treat this as a teleport though?
