Bulbasaur (フシギダネ, Fushigidane) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise.

Creature description

Bulbasaur is the Grass-type Starter Pokémon in Pokémon Red & Blue, and their GBA remakes Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen. It evolves into Ivysaur, and later on Venusaur.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

While a major Pokémon in its own right, Bulbasaur is only lightly represented in this one game in the Smash Bros. series.

As a trophy

Bulbasaur features as a collectible trophy, unlocked as one of the 100+ trophies that can be collected randomly during normal play, such as in the Trophy Lottery and throughout the various Single-player Regular Matches. It reads as follows:
