The final smash involves a much bigger black hole than the black hole bomb weapon in Mega Man 9. Also, both the final smash and Black End Galaxy involve a Mega Man entering the black hole (whether it be momentarily or for a few seconds) to deal damage.

Hub[edit]

Since MegaMan.EXE is technically Hub Hikari reincarnated into a NetNavi, shouldn't he be listed alongside the other Mega Men? I'm not entirely sure if this change is entirely necessary, as the others don't have cases like this. ThirdPlayer (talk) 22:46, 13 May 2014 (EDT)

He doesn't really need to be listed. He used to be Hub Hikari, now he's Megaman.EXE. The others do have cases like this. We could mention Rock and the original Mega Man, or Geo and Starforce Megaman. LittleMacmain97, a new kind of noob. (talk) 12:51, 10 June 2015 (EDT)

Isn't Mega Man's final smash functionally and aesthetically more like Black End Galaxy from Mega Man Starforce 3?[edit]

Clip of Black End Galaxy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PY_JCXEyH78 The final smash involves a much bigger black hole than the black hole bomb weapon in Mega Man 9. Also, both the final smash and Black End Galaxy involve a Mega Man entering the black hole (whether it be momentarily or for a few seconds) to deal damage.

Should the various Mega Mans get their own articles?[edit]

Since Chrom has his own article, should I give X his own article? Dreamcastboy99filmz (talk) 19:02, 1 August 2014 (EDT)

Chrom plays a much more significant role than X does, appearing as both a main feature of a Final Smash and showing up in the trailer, while Sakurai gave a reason that explained why Chrom wasn't added. X just shows up in a Final Smash, along with the other Mega Man incarnations, which doesn't really make him super unique. A page about the Mega Men (is that even a thing?) that show up in the Final Smash might be warranted, but definitely not one that's specifically about X. Trapping or directional?[edit]

The initial attack with the Black Hole Bomb is clearly a directional move, but it traps enemies. So is it a trapping or directional FS?

It's trapping; the initial attack may be directional, but the actual Final Smash is trapping. Rtzxy SmashSig.jpeg Smashing! 22:54, 10 October 2014 (EDT)

What in the world?[edit]

Who redirected the starforce Megaman page here? I think all the Megamen that appear in Mega Legends should have their own page. If Tom Nook and Dunban can have a page, X, Volnutt, EXE, and Starforce Megaman can have a page too. LittleMacmain97, a new kind of noob. (talk) 19:39, 8 June 2015 (EDT)

The three latter Mega Men are probably not as notable as X is and X is overall more prominent to the Mega Man franchise (perhaps second or third most popular Mega Man character after original Mega Man and maybe Zero). Also, X deserves a page because he plays a bigger role in the form of DLC costumes for the Mii Fighters. Dots (talk) Mega Man X SNES sprite.png The Team Fortress 2 19:55, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
I'm gonna strongly disagree with you on this, Dots. In-moveset assist characters are notable enough to warrant a page, and these other Mega Man characters have been on my to-do lists for months. Miles (talk) 20:16, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
In this case, the other Mega Men are just as notable as X is despite the fact that X is the one more prominent where his armor is also aforementioned DLC costumes? (X was the one who used to have an article on Wikipedia but since now he doesn't, bleh) Dots (talk) Mega Man X SNES sprite.png The Computer 20:33, 8 June 2015 (EDT)

I see. Still, Tom Nook has an article. And no costume. And I forgot to sign. DADGUM MY STUPID SPELL CHECK!!!! LittleMacmain97, a new kind of noob. (talk) 20:17, 8 June 2015 (EDT)

I don't think you get the point. It doesn't matter if he's more/less popular or whether he has/doesn't have a DLC mii fighter costume. It's about what his role is in Smash 4. The others have a prominent enough role to have pages. LittleMacmain97, a new kind of noob. (talk) 20:39, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
I agree. If X, Tom Nook, Dunban, and Chrom get pages, so should the other Mega Men. Popularity shouldn't have an effect, it's a pretty ridiculous reason. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe Nutta. 21:11, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
