Goron Goron appears as:
Gorons are a species of creatures that appear throughout The Legend of Zelda series, starting with Ocarina of Time. There are trophies for Gorons in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Their body composition is rocklike, making them very powerful and durable. They also eat rocks and other minerals, so they inhabit Death Mountain to consume these rocks and minerals. In Ocarina, Link has to defeat large, flame-breathing lizards called dodongos and their massive king, Dondorongo, which have occupied the cavern which contains the vital sustenance the Gorons needed. The Dodongos were sent by Ganondorf in an attempt to get the gorons to give up their sacred stone, the Goron's Ruby, which was needed to access the Triforce. In LOZ: The Windwaker, they mostly serve as traveling merchants, while in Phantom Hourglass they are mistrustful of Link until he correctly answers ten questions that the Goron King asks him. The Gorons on the island they live on give hints as to the answers of the questions, and you also have to note how many houses and Gorons there are on the island; the king gives you a few lifelines such as 50/50. Link needed to become one of the Goron brethren by answering the king's questions so he may access the temple on the Goron island. In this game, you can also play as the king's son, and is required to do so for the Goron island temple. Later, he runs a game on a nearby island where you have to roll around on a racetrack hitting the crystals en route before being able to cross the finish line; you get a reward if you cross the finish line in 30 seconds, and the racetrack has several rupees on it as well. In LOZ: Twilight Princess, they start out as being distrustful of humans, but that was due to their leader to be transformed by Fused Shadow into a flaming monster called Fyrus, which they imprisoned. However, after Link got the Iron Boots, he could stand up to them, and obtained their trust, then defeated and restored Fyrus. In Twilight Princess, after Link gained the Gorons' trust, he could hop onto their backs to get to higher places.

Trophy Description
A proud guardian of Death Mountain. Entering without gaining the trust of the Gorons will earn you a rolling-rock attack. They like sumo wrestling, as seen in Twilight Princess, when you need to wrestle Gor Coron. The complete shift to a friendly attitude by the tribal chief after being rescued suggests a prudent side to the Gorons.
