Alpha, or パンダジンバ in Japan, is an example of a creature in the GameCube game Cubivore. It appears as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Creature description

In Cubivore, the player controls a blocky creature that must attack and devour other such cube-like creatures arranged as animals to mutate your own creature into something stronger. Different animals are represented by the simplistic textures on their blocky bodies. Among these creatures is the familiar "panda" model that made a cameo appearance in Super Smash Bros. Melee (which was referred to as "Alpha"), a game which was released prior to Cubivore.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee

"Alpha" makes a cameo appearance in this game as one of the collectible trophies. Like several other trophies, it is based on a game that was still unreleased at the time of Melee's release.
