In many ways, the Smash community is seen as the foremost Smash official, surpassing even HAL, Nintendo and MLG. The community focuses more greatly on Smash than any other group, and can claim expertise in every aspect of the games. Most major tournaments are arranged by members of the community, and are supported and advertised by others. The community is a self-supporting network of places and people that band together to make the Super Smash Brothers scene what it has become today.
