GENESIS 6 is an upcoming supermajor tournament and the 6th edition of the GENESIS tournament series. It is set to take place in Oakland, California, from February 1st to the 3rd, 2019. The event will feature singles and doubles tournaments for Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and will also be a major event for Rivals of Aether and Splatoon 2. GENESIS 6 will also feature side events for Slap City, Magical Drop III, and Dance Dance Revolution Extreme. It is notably the first supermajor tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
